Kyrgyzstan set to boost exports of fish, chicken meat and milk to Russia

Torobaev emphasised the need to step up efforts to tackle the challenges for exports.

On April 19, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic Bakyt Torobaev held a meeting with the heads of the government agencies on the compliance with the food export requirements of the Eurasian Economic Union, the press office of the Government of Kyrgyzstan reports.

Torobaev emphasised the need to create conditions conducive to boosting the supplies and exports of fish and dairy products and chicken meat to Russia in compliance with the requirements of the EAEU.

“One of the main objectives of the Cabinet of Ministers is to boost exports. Thanks to strong exports, the national economy will grow and the budget will be replenished. It is necessary to step up efforts to tackle any “export” challenges,” he said.

The Deputy Chairman instructed the high-ranking officials to revise the internal regulatory legal acts on the implementation of the technical regulations of the EAEU, train specialists in ichthyology and laboratory scientists in a short time and tighten veterinary control.
