President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the State Security Council. As part of the event, he instructed officials to intensify work to ensure security at the border and strengthen the material and technical base of law enforcement agencies, as reported by the state news agency «Turkmenistan today».
During the meeting, it was announced that the country will hold military-tactical exercises. Berdimuhamedov noted the importance of introducing the best world experience in this area. He also pointed out the need for regular events to raise the patriotic spirit of the soldiers.
The president gave the order to continue the prevention of offenses, improve the professional skills of employees of law enforcement agencies, and modernize the principles of justice. Particular attention was paid to the importance of ensuring fire safety in the summer season.
The meeting also included a discussion of such topics as improving the conditions of service and life of border guards, opening new residential buildings for military personnel, and introducing new digital technologies into the work of departments.
