The Kyrgyzfarmatsiya State Enterprise under the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic was set up. Its goal and objective are to promote a new implementation concept of the state policy for providing healthcare institutions with medicaments and medical products at affordable prices, the press office of the Government of Kyrgyzstan reports.
«It is expected to reduce the cost of medicaments and medical products purchased for state healthcare institutions through direct deliveries from manufacturing plants or distributors,» the Cabinet of Minister reported.
It is noted that the pharmaceutical market remains one of the most complicated sectors that lacks a systematic approach.
The Department of Medicaments and Medical Products is the regulatory authority that issues the permits. The Mandatory Medical Insurance Fund is the payer of medical and pharmaceutical services provided under state safeguards.
With the aim of filling in such a missing link as the supplier, it was decided to set up a state enterprise that will be responsible for direct deliveries of medicaments and medical products factories and from manufacturers.
