Kyrgyzstan to implement major tourism projects in regions

Japarov commented on the outcomes of the republican meeting with the heads of regional state administrations and local governments.

On January 22, Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Akylbek Japarov commented on the outcomes of the republican meeting with the heads of regional state administrations and local governments, which was also attended by the members of the Cabinet of Ministers and the heads of banks and development funds, the press office of the Government of Kyrgyzstan reports.

The plans for 2023, including the opportunities of interaction under regional projects and initiatives, were presented.

Chairperson of the Tourism Development Fund of Kyrgyzstan Elena Kalashnikova reported on the major projects that are to be implemented in the coming years: a year-round recreation area in Chui Region and a national sports complex on the south coast in Issyk-Kul Region.

Following the meeting, the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers gave specific instructions, noting that the main motto of the Government, as defined by the President of Kyrgyzstan, is to not give offense to Kyrgyz citizens in Kyrgyzstan.

Earlier, Japarov informed at the republican meeting that the Government had developed the integrated development plans of the regions and rural areas.
