Japarov severely criticizes Osh Mayor’s Office for its work

It was noted that heavy rains contribute to an increase in turbidity in the Ak-Buura River and therefore curb freshwater supplies.

On January 17, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic, Head of the President’s Office Akylbek Japarov inspected the operation of a pumping station in Ozgur village, located near Osh, during his working visit to Osh Region, the press office of the Government of Kyrgyzstan reports.

He noted that heavy rains contribute to an increase in turbidity in the Ak-Buura River, and therefore freshwater supplies are cut off. Japarov criticized the Osh Mayor’s Office employees for their work.

He added that last year he proposed solving this problem and allocating the funds from the republican budget, but the Mayor’s Office of the southern capital decided that it would solve the problem on its own, but as practice has shown, the problem has not been solved so far.

Akylbek Japarov instructed to make precise calculations and submit the project for review as soon as possible.

As was reported, the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers has arrived in Osh region for a working trip. He will visit a number of industrial enterprises and construction sites of social facilities and meet with the residents of the region and the representatives of local authorities.
