President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular government meeting in Ashgabat. Within the event, the leader of the country approved the work plan of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the current year. It was reported by the state news agency «Turkmenistan today».
At the beginning of the meeting, head of the MFA Rashid Meredov reported on the relevant project. He noted that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs plans to continue the implementation of the legal status of Turkmenistan’s neutrality, as well as to increase economic partnership with other countries.
Particular attention will be paid to the humanization of international cooperation. The activity of intergovernmental groups, interest in the export opportunities of the Central Asian state and the investment attractiveness of Turkmenistan will be increased as well, added Meredov.
After the approval of the project, Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that he had no doubts that the goals set within the framework of the work plan will be achieved adequately.
