Kyrgyzstan reports no new coronavirus infections in past 2 days

This statistics is presented for the first time in 2 years of the pandemic in Kyrgyzstan.

Currently, 96 coronavirus patients are undergoing treatment at inpatient health care facilities and 46 coronavirus patients – at outpatient health care facilities.

In Kyrgyzstan, the first coronavirus cases were reported on March 18, 2020, and about 201,000 COVID-19 cases have been recorded during the pandemic.

The UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) reported on the identification of the new COVID-19 variant Omicron XE – a mutation of the BA.1 and BA.2 Omicron strains, called a recombinant.
