The vaccination plan in the capital of the Republic of Tajikistan has been fulfilled by 91.7%. As of the end of August, the number of citizens the country, who have been vaccinated, reached 2,009.748, the press office of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection reported on September 2.
According to the Ministry, 798,308 citizens have received two doses of the vaccine. Since the beginning of the pandemic, about 4.8 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been delivered to the Republic.
According to statistics, the vaccination plan throughout the country has been fulfilled by 34.5%. According to the Ministry of Health and Social Protection, citizens express gratitude to the Cabinet for taking care of their health.
The vaccine is provided at no cost for all citizens above 18 years of age. Minister of Health and Social Protection Jamoliddin Abdullozoda said victory over the second wave of coronavirus in Tajikistan was inevitable, noting that the epidemiological situation was stable and under full control of the authorities.
